Due to the ever-increasing variety and quantity of PV modules introduced to the market, the demand for PV module testing and certification services is booming. SERIS, in collaboration with Fraunhofer ISE and an internationally accredited certifying body, will set up South-East Asia’s first PV Module Performance Analysis (PVPA) Test Laboratory. All tests and certification activities will be in accordance to IEC-standards.

The new test laboratory will be geared to analyse both modules based on silicon wafer solar cells and thin-film modules.

Testing will comply with the type approval requirements specified in IEC and European standards IEC EN 61215 for silicon wafer based modules and IEC EN 61646 for thin-film modules, and safety requirements according to IEC EN 61730-1/2. We offer both full tests comprising all measurements prescribed in the IEC standards and partial tests of selected components according to the IEC standards.
