SERIS offers a new service: PV system performance assessment
SERIS is offering a new service: Yield assessment of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. One of the main components of this service is the prognosis of the mean annual energy output in kWh of a planned solar PV system. The focus is on PV systems in Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. Prof Luther (CEO of SERIS) emphasises: “The yield assessment will give important information to investors and project developers. Based on this, the economic performance of a PV system can be predicted and the technical risk of the project reduced.” Basis for the yield prediction calculations are the technical specifications of the chosen PV modules and inverters and accurate meteorological data. The potential losses that might occur during the system’s operation will be described and quantified in the yield prediction report. |
